We know that many of you have been eagerly awaiting a desktop version of our app, and we sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm. We want to be clear: the development of a desktop application has been postponed, not cancelled.
Our decision comes down to one simple focus: delivering the absolute best experience to you, our users. Many of our newest and most innovative features—like the Cockpit Screen—rely heavily on the unique internal sensors found only in Android and iOS mobile devices. These sensors are key to providing the powerful, seamless experience you expect from us.
As a small team, we have to be smart about where we dedicate our resources. Right now, that means fully concentrating our efforts on perfecting the experience on our core platforms, Android and iOS. This focus ensures we can continue to develop and roll out innovative features with the quality and consistency you deserve.
We are truly sorry to those of you who were looking forward to desktop support in the immediate future. We hear you, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize building the strongest possible foundation on mobile. We will continue to evaluate our plans and look forward to revisiting desktop development when the time is right.
