The “Add Vehicle” screen is more than just a form—it’s the secure vault for your car’s legal and financial identity. By digitizing these details, you ensure they are always accessible when you’re at the mechanic, the registry office, or on the phone with your insurer.
1. Registration Details
Never scramble for your registration papers again.
Vehicle Registration: Stores your license plate number for instant retrieval. The input field is marked with a Badge Icon so you can spot it quickly in your list.
Model Year: Features a dedicated Year Picker scroll wheel (from 1900 to present) to ensure you lock in the exact production year—critical for ordering the right parts later.
2. Insurance Vault
Keep your coverage details right next to your vehicle specs.
Insurance Provider: A dedicated field to log your current insurer, marked with a Security Shield icon.
Annual Premium: Tracks your yearly insurance costs. The app automatically detects your region’s currency (e.g., $, £, €) to format this price correctly.
3. Purchase History
Track the true cost of ownership from day one.
Original Purchase Price: Logs exactly what you paid for the vehicle. This becomes the baseline for your “Total Build Cost” analytics later on.
Mileage at Purchase: Records the odometer reading from the day you bought it. This creates a permanent reference point to calculate exactly how many kilometres you have put on the engine vs. previous owners.
Technical Specification Vault
This section is your digital factory build sheet. Instead of digging through the owner’s manual or looking for a compliance plate in the dark, you have the hard data ready to go.
VIN Number: The vehicle’s unique fingerprint. Essential for insurance claims, ordering factory parts, or checking recall notices.
Engine Number: A critical identifier for registration checks and engine swaps.
Engine Size: Logs your displacement (e.g., “3.0L” or “5.0L V8”) to help you filter for the correct oil and filter capacities later.
Paint Code / Colour: Never guess your shade of white again. Store the exact factory code (e.g., “Toyota 040”) here so you can buy the correct touch-up paint or matching body panels instantly.
Wheels & Tyres Manager
Tyres are your only contact with the road (or trail). This section ensures you always know what rubber you’re running and how to maintain it.
Tyre Size: Records your specific dimensions (e.g., “265/75R16”) so you don’t have to crouch down in the mud to read the sidewall when ordering replacements.
Recommended Tyre Pressure: Stores your target pressure. The app automatically detects your system settings to display the correct label (PSI or Bar), ensuring you inflate to the right spec every time.
Vehicle Type
More than just a label, this is the foundation of your digital garage. While it might look simple now, selecting the correct Vehicle Type (4×4, Motorbike, Truck, Boat, etc.) is critical for what comes next.
Smart Logic Foundation: Selecting your type today prepares your garage for specialized modules currently in development.
4x4s: Will unlock GVM Tracking and Off-Road Mod Logs to keep your rig legal and trail-ready.
Motorcycles: Will activate Chain Maintenance Intervals and specific service schedules unique to riders.
Project Cars: Will enable detailed build logs and part tracking.
Visual Customization: Instantly updates your garage interface with category-specific icons (like the lifted 4×4 or sportbike icon) so you can identify your vehicles at a glance.

My Garage
Your home base for managing the entire fleet. The My Garage screen organizes your vehicles by category (Cars, 4x4s, Motorcycles, Boats, etc.) so you never lose track of a registration or odometer reading again.
Smart Vehicle Cards: Each vehicle card displays critical “at-a-glance” info: Year, Registration Number, and current Odometer reading.
Visual Customization: Upload a custom photo of your ride, or the app will automatically assign a category-specific icon (like a 4×4 or motorbike) if no image is available.
Build & Mod Tracking
This isn’t just a list—it’s an activation switch that changes how the app calculates your vehicle’s safety. Toggling “Enable Build Tracking” does two critical things:
The Digital Build Sheet: It opens a dedicated workspace to construct a detailed manifest of your modifications. You can log every item—from suspension lifts to roof racks—including their individual Installation Cost and, crucially, their Added Weight.
The GVM Unlock (4×4 Logic): This is where the magic happens. If you have selected “4×4” as your Vehicle Type, activating this feature immediately unlocks the Live GVM Calculator on your main screen.
Smart Calculation: It automatically pulls the weight data from your mod list and compares it against your vehicle’s factory limits.
Legal Check: The app will then display a real-time status bar, showing exactly how much payload capacity you have left or alerting you if your latest mod has pushed you Over GVM and into the illegal zone.
